Bumblebee Conservation Trust responded:

On 4th October I wrote to various wildlife organisations and received this response from Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

It’s great to hear that you are encouraging others to create habitat that will benefit both managed honeybees and wild bees, like bumblebees. Well done for taking such a proactive stance and writing to councils about this!

The focus of our work is very much wild bees and in particular bumblebees (you can find out more about how they differ from honeybees here – https://www.bumblebeeconservation.org/beethechange/resource/bumblebees-and-honeybees-whats-the-difference/). We work with a number of land managers and businesses through our conservation projects and land management advice service which you can read more about here – https://www.bumblebeeconservation.org/what-we-do/.

All the best and good luck with influencing the people you make contact with.

Best wishes
