On 14th October I wrote to Berks and Bucks to both Richard Barker and Rachael Shimmins. I received 2 lovely responses. It looks like Bucks has created a biodiversity plan, hopefully they will try to include the pollinator sponsorship scheme into this as it will provide both revenue for the council, though local business support and more habitats which wildlife need.
Archie thank you very much for your email. How amazing to have been involved with bees from the age of 2. I know a little bit about bee keeping as our next door neighbour has kept bees for many years, they produce amazing honey which everyone in our house really enjoys.
I can see how passionate you are about this topic, thank you for all the links and information that you have sent.
I am going to share your email with my colleague Richard Barker who you can see I have copied into this email. Amongst other things Richard is responsible for our highways and he will be able to think about your ideas and reply to you.
Thank you for taking the time to email me and very best wishes. Rachael Shimmin

Many thanks for your email. As Rachael has noted, it’s really impressive to see how passionate and knowledgeable you are about bees and bee keeping.
We are progressing a number of key projects with our Natural Environment Partnership and some of the relevant details are available from the website links below:

I have also raised your suggestions with our Ecology Officer. We’ll certainly give your ideas plenty of thought and will look to include your suggestions as part of the development of this work.
Thank you once again for your email, it really is appreciated.
Kind regards
